Relationship object

This object is come from Chinese calligraphy, as we know, Chinese characters transformed from a kind of hieroglyph -- Oracle bone script. So one Chinese characters is a "picture". I choose twe of them which means "wood" and "water", then do the compounding and separation in either meaning and shape. The trees and water which this object should be located is the real environment, and it is the nature system. However, the object is another kind of system, the object is transformed from the hieroglyph "tree" and "water". It is a abstract picture or the real environment together and abstracted by the civilization. Maybe it is believe that these two system discrible one thing. In the picture, I put the object and real environment together, and let them contrast with themselves and make a crash. The original system has a integrity, but the abstract system has the essence. I want to show the relationship and difference.
